Yours truly has not been staying on top of the news and it's really quite shameful considering the activity level here. We've made leaps in progress on several projects, early stages are underway on a new one, our sunny summer interns have arrived, Chris went to Ireland with Habitat for Humanity, Laura completed her final project in her first year at CalPoly Pomona, and Brittany announced that she has a "bun in the oven/is with child/got knocked up" or in simple language, is preggers. Oh, how could I forget to mention that Tommy Lasorda, yes THE Tommy Lasorda, dropped by RPA and asked if he could study to become an architect under Rocky's tutelage. Apparently, he's been inspired by Brad Pitt. 

OK, that's not the real story but it doesn't matter- the point is that Tommy stopped by RPA and we were thrilled- especially Rocky, the most true blue of Dodger fans. (Note: Brian must have known Tommy was stopping by- he's wearing blue)

Introducing Christina Hwang, a USC architecture student who is with us for the summer. We predict by the time she returns to school she'll either be the Archicad guru.......or want nothing to do with architecture and take up something like, oh, horticulture.

Heeeeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrre's Michelle Ackerman, also an architect in the making at USC. We've put her to the daunting task of revising our portfolio. I hope that she still likes us by the end of the summer.

And Brittany- who's not our intern, but is incubating our future intern.
