We're not hoarders but we do like to keep good people around and to add them to the office when we find them, which is why we're very happy to have Brooke Taylor Borden join RPA. Brooke comes to us from North Carolina where she practiced architecture for seven years in a Raleigh firm. Prior to that she worked in Atlanta for several years, and spent nine months in the office of Michael Graves Architects in Princeton, New Jersey. Not only is she licensed but she's also LEED and NCARB certified. Yes! Brooke's presence here adds another "b" to a growing number of "b's": Brian, Brittany, Bridget, Barry. Some of us are starting to have our suspicions but I think we're safe for the time being - that is unless Rocky suddenly declares his new name, Bucky Buckefeller.
In other news. The fine LA blog site, Curbed LA has posted a couple of our projects underway in downtown. Barn Lofts and El Dorado Lofts have received a number of comments from readers. Some are good, and some not so good. But that's fine with us. Bring on the forum, we're a democratic kinda firm and welcome input from the casual observer to the architectural afficianado. |
