Rocky's European vacation

The big news here is that Rocky actually returned to the office after what sounds like an amazing two-week trip to Paris, Rome, and Tuscany. None of us would have been surprised if he'd called us on his international cell phone to announce that he and his wife, Amy, were staying on in Montepulciano to open a satellite RPA office. We could see him learning Italian, becoming a connoisseur of olive oil, and taking a new interest in Doric columns.

But we're happy to say that Rocky did return - and with about 2,000 pictures. There were a lot of fantastic shots to choose from but we narrowed it down to a few that seemed to resonate with him.

Rocky couldn't get enough of the Roman ruins. Here, Amy strikes a pose in front of the Roman Forum with Palatine Hill in the background.

The dome atop St. Peter's Basilica - Rocky climbed over and around, inspecting the construction techniques of the masters.

aquaduct

An ancient aquaduct that had a channel for water and a walkway for people. Far more beautiful than the California Aquaduct, wouldn't you agree?

Can you see why we didn't think Rocky would want to return to our El Segundo office?
